Washington Island Ferry Schedule & Rates Effective 4/1/10 - 3/31/11

EXTRA TRIP

Thursday Night - September 2, 2010

From Island: 8:30 p.m.

To Island: 9:15 p.m.

The Washington Island Ferry Line offers daily year-round service from Northport Pier to Detroit Harbor on Washington Island. Our ferry vessels can transport people, cars, vans, motorcycles, scooters, snowmobiles, four wheelers, bicycles and freight.

Each ferry has ample deck space with open-air seating. A heated cabin provides shelter in bad weather and in winter. Photo opportunities abound on the mainland and on your trip through Death's Door so be sure and bring your still or video camera.

Five vessels make up our fleet of ferries which operate daily to and from Washington Island – the Arni J. Richter, C.G. Richter (Retired), Eyrarbakki, Robert Noble and the Washington. The Washington Island Ferry Line accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover at the office and ticket booth.

Adult Passenger – $11.50 • Child (6 thru 11) – $5.50
Auto (Passengers NOT included) – $25.00
Motorcycle – $15.00 Bicycles $4.00

Schedule is subject to weather and traffic • Pets must be on leash or in car
Not responsible for Low Exhaust Systems
Vehicles must be in line 15 minutes prior to departure

You might want to consider bringing some type of transportation with you to the island – car, van, truck, moped, motorcycle, bike or even a snowmobile in winter.
