The Washington Island Ferry Line offers
daily year-round service from Northport
Pier to Detroit Harbor on Washington Island.
Our ferry vessels can transport people,
cars, vans, motorcycles, scooters, snowmobiles,
four wheelers, bicycles and freight.
Each
ferry has ample deck space with open-air
seating. A heated cabin provides shelter
in bad weather and in winter. Photo opportunities
abound on the mainland and on your trip
through Death's Door so be sure and bring
your still or video camera.
Five
vessels make up our fleet of ferries which
operate daily to and from Washington Island
– the Arni J. Richter, C.G. Richter
(Retired), Eyrarbakki, Robert Noble and
the Washington. For more information on
