| Washington
Island is approximately 4.5 by 5 miles. Most roads
are paved and the hills gentle. The terrain is a
mix of farm fields, mature forest and even some
Christmas tree plantations. A feature of any island
is its shoreline which is a mix of sand, flat rock
and large boulders, all with panoramic views of
surrounding waters and islands. Click
here for a printable PDF of the island and Door
County. |
